Lisa's Naturals owner, Lisa Kuney, made her first batch of soap in 1979 with her sister. She started selling soap in North Carolina in 1997, and has been happily stirring the soap pot ever since.
Her business vision came about as the result of her sister's allergies and environmental illness. There were few truly natural products on the market and many so-called natural products included synthetic fragrances and other unhealthful ingredients.
Lisa's Naturals offers a truly natural body care line. The soaps and other items are made with food-grade base oils such as olive oil and cocoa butter, scented with pure plant essences, and colored with herbs, spices, clays, and mineral oxide pigments.
